What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a course aimed at new drivers and has been designed by the Driving Standards Agency in conjunction with Insurers and the driving instruction industry.

Pass plus builds on the skill and knowledge you already have and teaches you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all sorts of hazards. This will help you to become a more confident driver.

Pass Plus is normally aimed at new drivers in their first year after passing the test, however you can take a Pass Plus course at any time.

Pass Plus training can take 6 hours or longer if deemed necessary. It is a practical course, although time of year and conditions may mean some modules are given as theory sessions.

You do not have to take a test at the end of the course but you will be assessed during the modules and a report form produced for you to sign at the satisfactory completion of each module.

At the end of your Pass Plus training, you will receive a certificate which can provide you with a discount on your car insurance policy.

Pass Plus with Tony Mitten's School of Driving costs just £140 and this cost can be offset with the saving you could make on your car insurance once your certificate is gained.
